He is true in his saying because it has been observed many times that the patients who involve themselves in playing video games or computer games, they forget their pain to a great extent and recover in a very short time. Not only this, the sick children who occupied their minds in playing video games required lower doses of pain medication and tended to suffer less from hypertension and nausea than children who were asked to just rest. They can promote medical skills and reduce stress and heal the people with phobias, diabetes, asthma, and cardiac diseases. They can help the children to overcome the great pain and discomfort. Many medical departments can use computer games as a form of physiotherapy. Therefore, it shows that video games can benefit the people and our society in positive way.

Video Games as Educational Tools:

Video Games can have great power as educational tools. A large number of video games are available which help to teach the children with numbers such as 123, ABC and etc. Including these, some video games can be designed for language learning. They can help in developing the analytical skills. There are many video games which help in learning the role of caretaker. For example, in Pet Pals, the player takes on the role of a caretaker for various animals, and as the animals are healed, trained, and adopted, the player receives new responsibilities. This practice of caretaker can help the person in his daily life by taking care of his family and friends. It will ultimately bring an environment of love in the society. They can help the people to develop their abilities and solve the problems under pressure. They can be useful for the people of every age as they are actually effective learning tools and not just mere toys.

Video Games Increase the Vision:

According to a new study from the University of Rochester, playing action video games sharpens vision. There are certain games like fighting games, RPGs, shooters, racing, tactical combat, puzzlers and etc which teach people in critical thinking. The critical thinking makes the people to view the things more deeply and than take the decisions. These games push the human visual system to the limits and the brain adapts to it. The video or computer games help the people to accept the challenges and than win them courageousely.
